Devotion: Our society is in a constant state of movement. Because of this it can be difficult to stop and truly listen to what God is telling us. I love listening to this song when I need a reminder to slow down and listen. When I listen to it I sing the words "Lord, keep me in the moment" as a prayer. I think we have forgotten how to live in the moment and be fully present in everything we do. During this season of Lent, I challenge you to be aware of this. Be aware of how present you are and take a moment to just be. To just stop, tune out the world around you, and listen to what God is telling you.

Devotion: We all have had a time where we felt unwanted. We feel like we don't belong, don't fit in, or just aren't accepted. That seems to be the norm for a lot of people. It's not true. You are wanted by God, the one who created you. You are wanted despite your flaws, despite your mistakes. All you have to do is let God's love in. Let God hold you and love you, let God wrap their arms around you and hold you close. We often think that God isn't there in our toughest times, but they are. We often just have trouble seeing God through our pain. God never leaves us, they are always there to wipe away our tears and wrap us in their love. God can help us fix our broken lenses and help us see the world and our lives in a new light. Let God take your pain and sadness. Let God in and allow God to heal you. Learn to listen for God's voice when you feel unwanted, because they will ALWAYS be there telling you that you are wanted. ❤️
